AI in Treasynx

Last updated 17 October 2026 · bmvp.ai Ltd

The short version

AI in Treasynx is optional and stays off until you set it up. You choose how it works: an AI provider you pick, with your own key; a small model you install on your phone; Treasynx AI, our own small model, which runs on your phone for four planning jobs and is downloaded only if you choose it; or no AI at all, because the planner works without it. No AI request passes through us. AI output is labelled, it can be wrong, and nothing in your day changes until you accept it.

Ways to use Treasynx

No AI at all

The planner works without any AI. Your first plan, your templates and the timing of your day are worked out by the app's own code on your phone. On a fresh install no AI provider is set up, and no AI feature makes a network request until you set one up yourself.

Your own provider, with your own key

You can connect one of fifteen providers: OpenAI (or any OpenAI-compatible service), Anthropic, Google Gemini, Grok (xAI), Groq, DeepSeek, Mistral, OpenRouter, Together, Fireworks, Cerebras, Perplexity and DeepInfra, or Ollama and LM Studio running on your own computer. You create the key with the provider, under your own account, and the provider bills you directly. We take no cut.

Your key is stored on your phone, encrypted with a key held in the phone's secure hardware. It is shown masked, like a password, and is sent only to the provider it belongs to. We never receive it.

A model on your phone

You can also install a small language model on the phone and use the AI features with no key, no account and no network. You get the model file from its publisher (for example Google's Gemma models, from Hugging Face), accept the publisher's licence, and import the file into the app. We do not supply or host the model. With this option, nothing about your schedule leaves the phone.

Treasynx AI, our own small model

An optional model made by us that runs on your phone, offline, for four planning jobs. Everything else uses one of the choices above. See Treasynx AI below.

What goes to an AI provider, and when

The provider handles your request under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours, so it is worth reading the ones that apply to you. You are responsible for any costs and for following the provider's terms. Some providers are outside the UK; for example, DeepSeek processes requests in China. See the privacy policy for the full list of where data can go.

Labels and transparency

In the spirit of Article 50 of the EU AI Act, Treasynx tells you when content comes from an AI:

AI can be wrong

AI output can be inaccurate, or entirely made up. Check anything important before you rely on it. Nothing an AI writes in Treasynx is medical, financial or legal advice.

The AI only suggests. When it proposes adding, moving or removing a block, each suggestion has its own button, and nothing changes until you press it. The AI has no way to set alarms, change settings, spend money or reach anything outside the app.

Treasynx AI: our own small model, optional

From version 1.2.1, Treasynx AI is available in the app as an option. It is a small AI model made by bmvp.ai Ltd, based on Qwen3-0.6B (Apache-2.0 licence). It is downloaded only if you choose it: in AI settings, choose Treasynx AI, read the first-use notice, then tap Download. The file is about 640 MB, so Wi-Fi is recommended. Nothing is downloaded before you tap.

It runs on your phone

Treasynx AI runs on your phone's processor and works offline. What you type into it is processed on the phone and is not sent to us or anyone else, and it is not used to train it. Answers can be slow on some phones.

What it does

Everything else uses your own AI provider, which you choose under "Other AI features use" in AI settings, or the app's own planner. Treasynx AI tells you when a request is outside its four jobs.

It can be wrong

It is a small model and it can be wrong. The app checks each answer, and if an answer fails the checks, the app's own planner or help steps in and says so. Check what it suggests before you use it. It is not medical, financial or legal advice, and it does not answer money, health, legal or food-safety questions.

Signed and checked before it is installed

Before anything is installed, the app fetches a small list of versions from treasynx.com and checks two digital signatures on it, Ed25519 and ML-DSA-65 (a post-quantum signature standard, FIPS 204), against keys built into the app. Both must be valid. The app then checks the model file's exact size and SHA-256 fingerprint against that list before the file is used. A file that fails any check is deleted.

Where the file comes from

The model is delivered from models.treasynx.com, which is served by Bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., a company in Slovenia, in the EU). The files are stored in the UK, and we have switched off Bunny.net's request logs. Like any download, Bunny.net receives your phone's IP address so that it can deliver the file; nothing else about you is sent. See the privacy policy.

Versions and training

This is version 0.1. It was trained on synthetic examples generated from the app itself and on examples we wrote, with no personal data. The model card shows how it was tested, where it does better and worse than the app's own planner, and which tasks are held back. Each version is listed in the changelog. New versions should improve over time; that is an aim, not a promise.

You can remove the model at any time in AI settings → Treasynx AI → Remove.
